This is the pocket watch that pays homage to the Mickey Mouse iconic timepiece of the 1930s, made by Ingersoll, the creators of the original. Mickey Mouse was the first licensed character to appear on a watch when Ingersoll introduced its now-famous design in 1932. Demand was so ravenous for the charming gloved “hands” of Mickey that Ingersoll established a small factory at the 1933 World’s Fair in Chicago so visitors could watch their purchase being manufactured. Eighty years later, Disney and Ingersoll partnered to offer this updated version with 17-jewel, hand-wound mechanical movement and a detachable chain and fob.
