Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the sterling silver and crystal pendant that commemorates one’s cherished canine. In 1940, president Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered over 200 keychain pendants from Hammacher Schlemmer of his prized Scottish terrier Fala, which he presented to friends and White House staff. This two-toned pendant evokes FDR’s canine-loving sentiment by featuring a dog icon in gold overlay encircled by a sterling silver heart that can be customized with up to nine characters of a beloved four-legged family member. The pendant measures 25mm high. Includes 16" sterling silver chain with 2" extender.
