This heated twin blanket earned The Best rating from the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute because it reached the warmest temperature and was the softest and most durable. Institute analysts tested all four corners of various heated blankets and the Best model heated up to an average of 88° F on low, 89.3° F on medium, and 99.2° F on high, while lesser models only averaged 71.5° F, 76.2° F, and 77.8° F, respectively. Thanks to its soft velour/sherpa fabric, the blanket’s thin wires are virtually undetectable to the touch, and it withstood repeated washing/drying cycles without pilling or fraying.
