Made with a durable metal alloy (4116 steel), the blade is composed of 15% chromium that yields superior corrosion resistance and a .55% carbon steel composition that provides a Rockwell Hardness Rating of 56 for long-lasting edge retention. The unique design of the knife combines the tough resilience of a cleaver for chopping through thick cuts and the sleekness of a chef’s knife for slicing and prepping food.
